FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they contract.

Specification, inspection, payment, freight and claims — answered the way we would answer them on the phone.

01What are your payment terms?
Telegraphic transfer against an agreed advance and balance is our standard term, and cash against documents is available to established counterparties. Terms are agreed before the contract is issued, never after.
02What Incoterms do you quote?
CIF and DDP are our standard terms under Incoterms 2020 — landed pricing with freight and insurance already inside it, and under DDP duty and delivery to your door as well. FOB, CFR, FCA and DAP are quoted on request. CIF quotations include marine insurance at 110 per cent of invoice value. Tell us the Incoterm you work on and we will quote on it.
03How quickly will I get a quotation?
A human acknowledgement the same working day, and a firm offer within 48 hours for products we hold positions in. Sourcing enquiries for commodities outside our standing range take three to five working days.
04What is your minimum order?
Generally one full container — 20 to 28 MT depending on the commodity. Bulk parcels start at around 500 MT for metals and 12,500 MT for grain. Consolidated LCL is possible for high-value spices and cashew.
05Can you send samples before we contract?
Yes, for food, spice and nut products. Samples are couriered against your account with a courier or against a nominal charge that is credited to the first order.
06Do you accept third-party pre-shipment inspection?
Yes — we prefer it. Nominate SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, Cotecna or Alex Stewart, or send your own representative. Inspection is built into our contracts by default.
07Which ports do you load from?
Port Klang (Westport and Northport), Penang, Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Pelepas in Malaysia, plus direct shipment from origin for goods we source outside Malaysia.
08Do you supply halal-certified goods?
Yes. Food products are available with JAKIM halal certification, which is recognised across the Gulf Cooperation Council and most OIC member states.
09Can you private-label under our brand?
Yes, for edible oils, rice, spices and packed nuts. Minimum is one full container per SKU and we handle the artwork, barcoding and destination-market label compliance.
10What happens if the cargo does not match the specification?
The contract names the surveyor, the test method and the tolerance. If the certified result falls outside tolerance, the contract's price adjustment or rejection clause applies. We put that in writing before shipment so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.
