How this grain is milled and cleaned
Paddy and raw pulses come in from contracted growers and collection centres, are pre-cleaned, destoned and de-husked, then milled, polished and passed through length graders that set the broken percentage. The broken figure on your contract is a grading outcome we control, not an estimate — the length grader is set to the contract and the reject stream goes to a lower grade rather than back into your lot. Moisture is conditioned before bagging, because grain bagged wet is the most common cause of a cargo arriving with mould claims.
Quality control
Moisture, broken percentage, foreign matter, damaged and discoloured grain, chalky grain and test weight are recorded per lot. Where the destination requires it we fumigate under ISPM-15 and issue the certificate with the documents, and we screen for pesticide residue against the destination MRL rather than the origin one.
Packing and private label
Standard packing is 25 kg or 50 kg woven polypropylene with a printed BOPP outer, palletised or floor-loaded. Jumbo bags of 1 MT are available for buyers who repack at destination. Printed private-label bags are a routine run for us: send artwork and we handle origination, and we hold the design on file so a repeat order needs no new approval cycle.
Contract terms that hold
We contract on GAFTA and FOSFA terms where you want them and on plain sale contracts where you do not. Payment is by telegraphic transfer against an agreed advance and balance, or cash against documents for established counterparties — whichever your bank and ours can both live with.
Quality supervision at load port
Moisture, broken grain, chalky grain, damaged and yellow kernels, foreign matter and admixture are certified by SGS, Intertek, Cotecna or Bureau Veritas before loading, with fumigation certificates issued under the destination country's phytosanitary requirements.
Bagging and stuffing
Rice ships in 5 kg, 10 kg, 25 kg and 50 kg PP or BOPP bags, printed to your artwork, or in jumbo bags of 1,000 kg. Maize, wheat and soybeans move in 50 kg bags or in bulk with container liners. Every container is stuffed with dunnage, desiccant and a moisture barrier for tropical transit.
